This basic course is ideal for those new to color grading or beginners with first experiences in Resolve. In small groups, participants will learn how the tool is structured, acquire background knowledge on color theory and understand the connection between color grading, editing and audio.

Learn about:

– The basic functions of Resolve
– How to import media to your timeline
– Getting different RAW camera formats into the Resolve
– Resolve Editing explained
– Adding transitions, text and subtitles
– Basic Color theory and how this works in the DaVinci
– Primary and secondary correction including curves
– Working with Fusion
– Sound mixing using Fairlight
– Finishing to Vimeo, YouTube, or a ProRes master

Each day we usually start at 10:00 and finish at 17:00.
We also have a lunch break for one hour.
