This is an updated version of the full three day colorist strategies class and will include an introduction to color science, color theory, and scene referred color-optimized workflows, as well as practical application using DaVinci resolve and an in depth look at the color tools. We study efficiency, session management, quality, and different techniques for different jobs. Are you good at looks but getting muddy results? Are you good at matching but limited in look development? Do you ever wonder if there might be a better way or a quicker way to do what you do? If so, this course is your best starting point to better grades. DPs, DITs, directors, and editors as well as colorists are all welcome. Techniques and knowledge are valid for all systems.
